This tour will make your discover the most representative, varied and beautiful part of France.
Starting from the Côte d’Azur, through Provence, along the Alps, this tour will offer you thriving and diverse landscapes.
You’ll start with a ride along the coast, from La Promenade des Anglais in Nice to the most famous Formula 1 circuit in Monaco.
You will then lift yourself up to the Alps at 2800 meters altitude, riding on the Tour de France roads, along spectacular canyons, preceding the majestic geological jewel : the Verdon’s Canyon.
Then you’ll enjoy the symbolic Provence, its traditional stone houses’ villages, lavender fields (during season) and its vineyards.
You will stop by the major medieval and historic city of Avignon, before heading south to the sea, around Marseille and its famous “Calanques”.
Riding through the Massif des Maures, picturesque roads will bring you to the typical and well-known Saint Tropez.
You will end this tour, without leaving the Côte d’Azur shoreline, riding along the Massif de l’Estérel, the Corniche d’Or, Cannes and its sparkling Croisette, the old Antibes and its billionaires’ seaport, meeting up Nice and its Baie des Anges.
Before the French Riviera started attracting famous painters in the beginning of the 20th century and later on the all international “Jet Set”. It was an area of sleepy fishing villages, with little contact with the outside world. On this bike tour, you’ll get the opportunity to get into the golden years and the past of this region. Small roads, little villages, welcome to where “small is beautiful”.
